Contra Paris Sundays launches at Drai's Beach Club • Nightclub
Monday, June 9, 2014
Grammy Award-winning production duo The-Dream and Tricky Stewart have partnered up with the stunning Drai's Beach Club • Nightclub that now crowns the Strip’s only stand-alone boutique hotel, The Cromwell. Their event, Contra Paris Sundays, debuted June 8 (with surprise guest Steve Wonder) as a multi-sensory journey for clubgoers. The immersive experience transports guests into The-Dream and Tricky's eclectic, artistic world, and will tap into the spirit of American urban artists that migrated to France to expand their musical creativity.
“It’s exciting to be working with two musical geniuses,” explains Victor Drai. “They have created a concept as unique and inspiring as the club itself. My goal has always been that Drai’s would be a place where one-of-a-kind happenings occur and Contra Paris is just that type of event."
Contra Paris transforms an ordinary Vegas Sunday night into a sexy, sensual and sophisticated extravaganza. In addition to producing the show, The-Dream & Tricky have created a signature video and song for the night and will debut exclusive tracks at the event.
“Adding Victor Drai has been like adding another songwriter to the team,” says The-Dream. “Tricky and I are ecstatic to add a venture such as this to our resume. We were made part of how it looks and feels, and now how Sunday’s at Drai’s will sound. I want the world to feel the luxury of a Paris love right here in Vegas; the place where Tricky and I started The-Dream brand.”

General public sales launch Monday, Feb. 24.
Newly released renderings show 188 suites and rooms with vintage-meets-modern design. Think distressed hardwood floors, custom chandeliers, trunk-style furnishing and photographic artwork by Deborah Anderson. Splashes of bright colors echo whimsical touches, such as the black and white mosaic shower tiles spelling out playful English-French phrases.
Ranging from 723-2,550 square feet, The Cromwell’s 19 suites add even more selection to the luxurious Anthology Las Vegas Suites & Villas collection. The suites, which feature wet bars, steam showers and deep soaking tubs, are strategically placed among the hotel for prime Strip views.

Drai’s Beach Club • Nightclub opens Memorial Day Weekend
Friday, February 14, 2014
The next wave of luxe Las Vegas partying officially hits Memorial Day Weekend, when Drai’s Beach Club • Nightclub opens on the rooftop of The Cromwell. “The club itself is going to be such a movie star,” Victor Drai said. “It will be kicking off summer, but for now we have to save some of the opening secrets.”
Now under construction, The Cromwell is the first stand-alone boutique hotel on the Strip. With influential visionary and nightlife veteran Drai behind the hotel’s multi-sensory day and nightlife component, it will surely strike gold. His cult favorite Drai’s After Hours lounge is also returning to its original space with a slight refreshing.
Visual, sensual and social, both the indoor and outdoor spaces will have a striking attention to detail. Drai is currently promising 150 tables for the 65,000-square-foot nightclub (75 each indoors and outdoors) and is set on straying away from booking big-name electronic music DJs. For the daytime component, ten VIP bungalows and luxury cabanas, each containing their own pools, offers guests privacy while being in the midst of all the action. The mezzanine level will contain 15 VIP cabanas and a third pool with five private VIP bungalows overlooking Las Vegas Boulevard. Expect more than 40 daybeds for prime pool deck seating.
But Drai’s anticipated new party destination is not a rushed vision. He admits he’s been eyeing the space for nearly two decades, long planning to create a glamorous bacchanalia that ups the ante for Las Vegas nightlife. Think panoramic Strip views, beautiful décor with pops of color, several different pool areas, and towering palm trees dotted with jetsetters soaking up the sun or dancing under the stars.
Taking advantage of its location 11 stories up, Drai is also implementing a Firework menu, where guests who spend $5,000-$100,000 can select a firework to shoot off at night at a time they choose.

It's Official! Las Vegas' Coolest Boutique Hotel Is The Cromwell
Friday, January 31, 2014
The mysterious hotel positioned at the intersection of Flamingo Road and Las Vegas Boulevard has been officially christened The Cromwell. Currently under construction, the boutique hotel’s name foreshadows its sophisticated vibe and lavish aesthetic. As the newest luxury lifestyle boutique hotel and casino on the Strip, The Cromwell is poised to raise the stakes.
With the teasing name unveiled, the real fun begins.
The Cromwell is scheduled to open this Spring, (just in time for patio dining and pool season, of course.) Total Rewards members can book a room starting Feb. 21. Three days later, rooms are available to the general public. Everyone is encouraged to sign up to stay on top of the latest Cromwell news.
Giada De Laurentiis and Victor Drai are star anchors, and construction is well underway on Giada's two-story restaurant masterpiece and Drai's three daylife/nightlife venues.
Chef and Food Network celebrity De Laurentiis will debut her Italian recipe favorites in a beautiful, airy dining room which she says will feature an antipasto bar. With warm colors and natural lighting thanks to huge Strip-front windows, she’s currently previewing dishes and designing the breakfast, lunch and dinner menus. Drai will launch his cult favorite Drai’s After Hours (temporarily moved to Bally’s for now), along with his first-ever beach club and adjoining nightclub space - on the hotel’s roof, no less.
A casino, night swim parties (we hope!) and center-Strip rooftop views? Take me to The Cromwell.
